To celebrate the release of its new cover, Blog of the Dead –
Sophie will be HALF PRICE at 99p through January and
February 2014.
Blog of the Dead – Sophie has got a new look. The new cover,
photographed by the very talented Sarah Bray of
Sarah Bray Photography, has been designed for me by the amazing Rick Jones of
Absolute Graphix. We had such a fun day on the photo shoot and I’d
like to say a HUGE thank you to Sarah and Rick as well as to my
wonderful models Sarah Williams – you’ll see Sarah on the cover
of book 2, but that’s enough about that for now – Claire Jones,
Ella Laurence, Max Pulger-Frame and Terri Marsh. And yes, I’m in
there somewhere but I don't mind if you don’t recognise me!
Rick and Sarah both put a lot of creativity into the shoot and
everyone involved worked really hard. This shot really stood out to me, and to
everyone else who saw it prior to release. I think it has depth
and it tells a story. And, as an action shot, it reflects the content
of the novel – and the frenzy of a zombie outbreak – perfectly.
